  1. you can tattoo over stretch marks but it may not be perfect.
i had my stomach tattooed 2 weeks ago to cover the marks i got from my pregnancies. the lines can be a little wobbly due to the skin differences but it should be fine.
people will look at the tattoo so they may notice a little bit of the marks but its not as obvious. good luck

  2. You can get a tattoo over marked, scarred or stretched skin. Just know that it won’t look 100%. Pick your design wisely because you want to cover all of it, not just part of it because it won’t look right!
Ask your tattooist if he’s done that kind of thing before and if he has any picures.
I’ve seen a flower over a pretty bad scar on an ankle and it look pretty bloody good when you see the before and after pics.
    Good Luck & Enjoy!

  3. it will hurt a lot more, but it’s possible. like an above poster said, just ask the tattoo artist you choose, if they have a portfolio of their work on covering scars. it’s essential that you can see proof of their ability to not botch a cover.

  4. I had a cover-up tattoo done over a scar from surgery on my chest and I have to tell people there’s a scar there. Stretch marks shouldn’t be a problem for good tattooist. Might need a touch-up once in a great while, but go for it. :D

  5. You could, but the tattoos would go in and out of the grooves.
It is much easier to have it done on perfectly healed skin.
The skin on the stretch marks would not heal correctly. Infact the tattoo artist might not want to do it.

  6. I have a cover-up over an old tat & a burn scar, and the scarring is barely noticeable, even looking close… However, this one is all black and fairly thick, so am not sure if it would be different for detail and color.

  7. idk , im glad u asked cuz i wana know also
