I want to design clothes and be a fashion designer but I can not draw. I have never really tried hard to learn yet, but i am wondering if I can even do that? Nothing really fancy I just wanna be able to draw the human body, faces, and obviously clothes in good detail. Any advice etc much appreciated!

yes you CAN learn how to draw!
Yes you can learn. Some people have natural talent in drawing, but “if there’s a will there is a way” if you live by that, then ANYTHING is possible. Good luck.
You get a bunch of pencils and paper and you start drawing and you keep drawing for the rest of your life. Drawing is partly a skill, it can be learned. You draw, you copy other drawings and pictures, you trace pictures and you freehand copy photographs. In a couple of years you will be drawing well enough that other people will like what you draw.
Some of it is natural talent, but like most things, with practice, you can do it.
If you’re talking about fashion designs you really don’t need to be able to draw a human face in much detail (it won’t matter), nor their bodies – it will be more of a contour drawing (just the outline and some light details). Your main focus (hopefully) will be the actual clothing itself. If you like clothes and have a good eye for detail you should be able to draw them after practicing for a while. The best thing to do is start out by drawing the actual clothing itself like how you would imagine it looked on a person. From there, you can add legs, arms etc. Focus on the fashion first, details of the human later.
There are also sketch books that you can find at your local library that will help you if you feel like you need more concrete advice.
