I am no chemist (in fact I'm a Materials Scientist and Engineer), but I understand a little about dye chemistry and colour chemistry. Dyes come in various forms and are attached in various ways to the fibre. Some dyes are constructed of a complex ions some are organic (as in containing carbon) compounds, some are covalently bonded, some are ionic.

Depending on the manufactuer and the wash of the denim, different types of dyes will be used. Bleach will tend to attack ionically bonded dyes breaking the molecule or complex off, since the Chloride ion will seek out a positive charge and steal it. Thus it will reduce the intensity of the colour of an ionic dye since dye molecules will fall out.

If you are dealing with azo-type dyes they tend to by covalently bonded to the fibres. This type of bond is less susceptable to chloride attack (it is less chemically favourable). However this results in the chloride ion attacking elswhere in the dye molecule or dye complex, changing the chemistry of it, and hence the colours.

bleach takes the colour out of things. the same when people's hair goes slightly orange because of bleach. because it has stripped most of the colour and the chemical turns things slightly yellowy.

its because bleach isnt made to make dark clothes lighter, its made to keep whites white! all it will do to darker clothes is leave blochy white marks or do stupid stuff to them like make them turn orange.

they probably turned orange because of something done to treat them while they were being made

Because if you get bleach on denim they turn orange, you're not supposed to bleach jeans. Even if you get a little bleach on them they turn orange, I can't imagine washing jeans in bleach. You're not supposed to bleach any colors, haha

They should all have a sales team. Best thing to do would be to contact them online and ask about prices, and terms and conditions.

There is one rule to the desire to be a boutique owner and that is to believe in yourself and work confidently towards your goal. It is not necessary to be a lingerie designer or model to have a successful lingerie boutique. The beauty of lingerie is that it makes people feel sexy; free and uninhibited whether they are a professional model, celebrity or glowing (perhaps sometimes frazzled) mother of three.

Beauty is in us all and this business is all about making everyone feel beautiful. A person of any shape, size and background can own a lingerie shop and approach their customers with knowledge, fashion and compassion and build a strong customer base.

There is absolutely no need to be a designer or even have any experience at all in the design industry. Most lingerie boutiques choose to buy through wholesalers or order their own private label through an X-named manufacturer. It helps to have an interest and passion for lingerie and keep up with what is in fashion, but as a boutique owner they will rarely find themselves in a position to design clothing, unless they want to. One of the best ways to get a constant supply of new designs and keep up with the popular fashion trends is to attend a regular series of tradeshows and conventions.
