Does anyone have any diet tips for the girl on the go??

With work and school it’s hard to eat healthy so i usually end up at fast food restaurants. Any tips on how to avoid the really bad things?

  1. I’ve taken to keeping a thing of cottage cheese and yogurt in the fridge at my job – as well as some grapes.

    If I HAVE to get something quick – I usually do McDonalds – a side salad or a single chicken Fajita. Also really cheap!

    Always have a bottle of water with you – and maybe some protein bars?

    It’s all about accessability! I’m sorry I don’t know how many stock-able fridges you’ll have around you.

  3. Jenny Craig has a lot of carry along foods. If there is a microwave handy then all you have to do is microwave your food at work. They also have tuna and chicken salad that’s in a pop top can. Then you just buy a salad at the cafeteria and bring Jenny dressing in a little packet and there you go you have lunch.It is doable. I am a nurse and I’m always on the go.


  4. Brown bag it with fruits and cut-up veggies. Make energy shakes and put in cooler. Go to $ Store and buy storage containers and/or zip lock baggies. Bake chicken, fish, etc. at home and put onto a salad. Take almonds with you to snack on. Check out site below – exactly what you need.


  5. get a good tasting protein powder, and mix it on the go! it is delicious and so healthy for u….and with it eat a piece of fruit! it is so yummy and so healthy for u!


  6. for a girl im not going to give you a advice,for else anyone give advice. you shouldnt be getting on the diet that makes you look like a pencil. everyone comes in different shapes and sizes. love yourself the way you are!take time to eat a meal that you like and thats good for you. like a kind of fruit,like me i love mango and it s really good for my tastebuds and my health. i hope i gave you a good piece of advice,if you need anymore advise,my email is tatum_01808@yahoo.com.


  7. well sometimes it helps to have healthy snacks in the car, like granola bars or low-calorie drinks like gatorade or powerade or whatever. it might not count as a “meal” but it can help take away a bit of hunger so when you DO go to fast food places you don’t end up supersizing everything.

    tip: if you go to carl’s jr., the healthiest sandwich there is the bbq charbroiled chicken sandwich. yeah it’s a pretty random piece of advice but it miht help.

    tip #2: whenever you hear “extra crispy”, they really mean, extra fat. AVOID THIS.

    tip#3: just because it’s a salad doesn’t mean it’s the healthiest, soemtimes dressings have as much fat as hamburgers.AVOID MAYONNAISE!

    tip#4: so you won’t drink as much soda, fill the cup halfway with ice. then pour the soda in.
