Question:

It seems that all of the pet paintings I look at online are old fashioned and stuffy. I would like something with some life, similar to my real dog.

   Decorative painters are artists who can do this. I am one and recently completed a project for someone who wanted her favorite dog breeds on the backs of her dining room chairs. See the pictures in the link below and contact me if you would like to talk further.

   Go to an art school and see if a student can paint you one at a reasonable cost.

   It really depends on what you’re looking for. Some people like the realism portraits that look more like a photograph than a painting. But if you want something stylized my mom and I can help. We do this thing called Sketch your Pet and I think it’s cool. It’s not really a sketch it’s a painting, but it could be a sketch if you want one. If you’re interested you can email me.
