no a tattoo on your lower back does not send the wrong message, my husband is a tattoo artist and he has done many on respectable high class women. i am now a mom and my 1st tattoo was on my lower back. the only other advice i can give is if and when u get a tattoo, make it original, have a friend, yourself or the artist draw.
NO IT DOES NOT.BUT IT ALSO DEPENDS UPON WHAT YOU HAVE FOR A TATOO.MAKE SURE ITS NOTHING SLEAZY OR DIRTY.OR SOMETHING LIKE THE PIC OF A GOD OR SUMPIN’ THAT WILL OFFEND THE SENSIBLITIES OF SOME PPL.AND WEAR CORRESPONDING CLOTHES TO SHOW OFF YO’ TATOO.
there’s a reason why they call the tat on your lower back a ‘tramp stamp’
Sounds like you are following the crowd. Be original and dont get a tatoo. the lower back tats are sleazy.
depends or the crowd you hang with or the type of social environment you live in. It’s probably one of the easiest tattoos to conceal.
yes it says, “Hey look at me I am trying to be like everyone else.” do something original like a tat in your arm pit or something like that
no way, I love the way lower back tatoos look (and im not the kind of person who gets a piercing or tatoo asap) they are so cute I also like the look of earings and belly button rings but outside of that no
It’s your body ,do whatever you feel like!
what signal are you trying to send? I dont think it says much besides “I appreciate this art work” of “I love butterflies”
Your lower back is an all right place to get a tatt. Not likely to stretch too much (when you have kids) and easy to conseal, which you may need, since you are 16 and dont know what kind of environment you’ll be working in later in life.
It depends on why you’re getting it. I have four tattoos but they each mean something, I got one when my son was born and the other three were one when each of my grandparents passed away as a result nobody ever has anything negative to say about them because they carry meaning and people respect that.
A tattoo on your lower back is commonly reffered to as “target practice” which means it’s what a guy aims for when he shoots his load….yeah I’de say you would be giving the wrong signal.
no it doesnt. Personally I dont like tattoos on women (think they look tacky/low class) but if thats your thing then get it where ever you want it.
I have a few tatoos and my husband has quite a few, I think that as a person you have to chose where the tatoo goes, you need to think of the future, do you want it to be seen during job interviews, do you want it seen when you are at a formal party, the questions go on and on. All mine are in places that I can show them off or places that are easily hidden, the shoulder blade, the calfs on both legs and I am having one put on my chest area this summer. Good luck and remember they are there for life and you will have to deal with them forever, I still love mine yet my husband does not like the first one he had done anylonger and there is no way to “cover it up” so think long and hard before you make any decisions.
Did u see Wedding Crashers?
Cuz thats just a movie…
Y in ur lower back?
Thats where evryone puts a tattoo…
Ur skin is all over ur body! Find someplace original!!!!
Ewwwww tatoos cheapen you. Look at any female celeb who wears a stunning gown and that Gawd-awful tatoo comes into view. Now, think of yourself as a 95 year old broad with your boobs hanging low and your tatoo unidentifiable because of wrinkles. Yep, that looks really good.
what signal are you wanting to send? it could be interprited different ways depending on who sees it.
Be careful about getting tattos, they are permanent and in the future you may regret your decision. It does give the wrong signals to get tattoos altoghether.
Only if it says ‘Open for Business’ and has a downward pointing arrow!
I certainly think that it is not good to hang around with a tatoo. it looks like you are just trying to show off. A person who is properly clothed and has simple appearance attracts max attention. “SIMPLICITY IS BEST POLICY”
it depends like how big the butterfly is..bc if its not that big that it doesnt send the wrong signal but if its huge then it might. But it also depends on who you hang out with bc thats a big influence on people.
Some people would think that a tattoo on the lower back would be cause for certain signals. And others would take it as she has another tattoo on her lower back this time. Im only 22 and when I see tattoos on the lower back of a female I look at it as a tattoo they wanted there.
I don’t think it is bad at all. But, you really should wait a couple more years to make sure you want it since it is permanent and it hurts more to take it off than it did to put it on. Also, I would suggest you put it somewhere that is easy to hide because who knows what field you will work in and in some fields a tattoo that is visible with clothes on is looked down on such as the legal field, banking, etc.
i have plenty of ink in my skin. full sleeves. as far as the butterfly sending the wrong signal thats gonna depend on the person. you can’t please everyone, so don’t try to. including your friends. tattoos aren’t just some trend, its art. but also, you’re only 16. you should be thinking about getting that diploma, and picking out what college you want to attend, not a tattoo. believe me. you dont want to end up in iraq making 20K a year avoiding danger.
