Snow, wind and hail is this enough to put people off a old fashioned uk park holiday?

   Well it would put me off even if the weather was nice after what ive heard about accomodation at those grotty places.

   It wouldn’t be the weather that put me off those GROTTY holes!!!!!!
   I had the mis-fortune to work at a Haven site, 4 years ago. They pack a thousand caravans into a site, chuck in some tacky overpriced entertainment, and eating outlets, and charge poor guillable souls £900 a week for a poorly cleaned caravan, packed so close to the neighbouring vans, you can hear your neighbours farting in the night. They make a FORTUNE every year, and pay their staff peanuts.
   I will NEVER stop trying to educate the public about HAVEN sites. There are lots of small family run caravan sites which are half the price of HAVEN, which could desperately use the custom, and I strongly advise people to avoid HAVEN, as they are rip-off merchants. (And Butlins isn’t much better!!!!)
