Ok, so my friend and I were discussing how cool fashion was in the eighties, and how it’s making a comeback (sorta). We want to know how to incorporate 80s fashion with modern fashion. It has to be something that stands out, considering where we go to school, everyone wears a t-shirt and jeans everyday. It can’t be too exotic, though, because we don’t want to look like we were actually from the eighties, just something like what to wear neons with and stuff like that. Thanks in advance.

   A lot of the point of 80s alternative fashion was to be exotic. If you don’t like that, don’t try.

   you could get cool neon converse shoes or flats, with dark denim jeans, and a solid, white or black tank with a shirt over it with some kind of bright colors or design. or you can always use ur accessories as the brightness to the outfit. headbands earrings, belts.. they can make the outfit come together.

   Wear alot of bangles/colourful bracelets. You could tease your hair but that would really look out there. Leg warmers were popular, and wearing a few necklaces at once was a common thing too. Incorporate a little light colored jean jacket in an outfit. Big earrings. Things like that.
