Should I stay with him?
Filed in The Fashion Category Fashion for Pets
I’ve been with this guy for almost a year, its been 11 months. I’m 16 btw.
the first 2 months were fantastic. but then things got a bit edgy, because of previous relationships i find it hard to completely trust someone, and same for him.
I never got on with his family, his mum and dad ignore me, his sister I really hate, as she keeps saying really mean lies about me to his parents and his older siblings are so rude that they ignore the fact im in the room, but yet ive never done anything to upset any of them.
He then started to change a bit and we argued almost every day over really stupid things, then he started saying that he wanted different things for the future than me.
( I want to go to university and study beauty and fashion, then hopefully move to America and work over there and do Glamour Modelling aswel as beauty.) But he’s a little unsuportive until now where hes saying yeah i’ll try and be there (again im unsure that he will)
he dosent have any life goals that i know of as of yet, before he met me didn’t have any, until i pointed out that he needs to do well in school etc, although he hasn’t.
He dosen’t talk to me about his feelings or problems either, he expects me to just know.
We don’t have the same interests, and although we’ve taken a break from seeing eachother for a month (we still text and talk on the phone) im still unsure wether this relationship is worth it.
Yes i do have feelings for him, but when we were together almost everyday we did argue over really stupid things, he’d shout at me until i cried and then he’d stop, its always until i cry, as soon as i cry he calms down.
also when we are both with my family he’s almost perfect, but when we are together alone he’s different in a bad way.
(sorry this is so long)
he’s also been abusive to my pets, which has affected me in such a way, i find it difficult to leave the room and leave him alone with my pets for even just 5-10 minutes.
I want more than anything to move to america and pursue my dreams, but its wether he will make it difficult and possibly prevent me from doing so?
My parents also are booking a family holiday to America- florida, but just me, my mum and dad (i have no siblings), my boyfriend not included. I aint really complaining though because i dont think i really want him to come atm.
our time part now, we hardly speak much but he has been quite lovely to me, which has mademe think should i honestly stay with him?
Reading all of your answer’s got me kinda happier, and more excited about starting new without him, thing is when i ‘caught’ him when he grabbed my dog and hit him, i screamed at him to get out, he cried and said he didnt do it … but then he started turning it back on me saying do you really beleive i did that, i cant beleive you would accuse me of this etc.
weve had some good times in the past, bu things then changed i dnt know why :/ so maybe this is the real him…
the holiday is year after next for 3 weeks, so if we were still together by then he wont stay with me because i’d be in a different country for 3 weeks without him.. but i really want one last family holiday.
who knows i may meet someone over there..which is what my dad has always said he wants me to do sinc i was quite young lol!
most of you have asked why i havent left him, aswer to that is bcause my i dont know what its like to have a ‘amazing, romantic’ relationship people talk about.
my parents argue all the time, have been together since young, and my dad has hurt my mum in so many ways and also not really nice to my pets either, but my mum stays with him :/
so i have no idea what its like to have a decent relationship, never had one and feel as though i never will :/

If you are doubting his way of doing or his personality wise, or not respecting the way you should have, then it would be wise or better to separate.
Answer by grayselegy
No, your relationship seems to have run its course in a short time, and it doesn’t sound like a healthy one anyway, with him making you cry (sounds like more about him wanting to control you) so I suggest you go on the family holiday with your parents, which will please them as it’ll probably be the last time you do this together, and forget about your BF for a while. When you get back, see what you think about him then. You may find he’s moved on by then, and you’ll certainly see things more clearly then. Good luck.

In the United Kingdom – Cultivation and use of cannabis was generally outlawed under the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971, in its original form
In the United states – While more than a dozen US states have decriminalized possession or personal use of cannabis, it is illegal under the federal Controlled Substances Act of 1970. It prohibits the possession, usage, purchase, sale, and/or cultivation of marijuana.

It depends on where you are.
NOTE that MOST seeds in bird food have been treated so that they will NOT germinate.

When did fork- and knife-rests fall into disuse?
Filed in The Fashion Category Fall Fashion
I’m familiar with fork- and knife-rests of the Victorian period but I’ve recently seen some plainly more recent ones, dating from (possibly) the 1920s. I take it they are well and truly out of fashion now. I’ve never attended a dinner, however formal, in which they were used. When do you think they became definitely old-fashioned ?
I don’t think fork- and knife-rests were ever as well established as finger bowls and other refinements of the Victorian table. They are actually quite useful though.
I think there were only knife rests, not fork rests, though of course you could rest a fork on them. I haven’t seen a knife rest dating from later than the 1920s/ 30s. They may have been produced since then but not as a mass or standard item. Even then they were probably old-fashioned. I haven’t seen one of real quality that wasn’t Victorian or Edwardian.
Answer by Diane
To be honest with you, I’ve never seen this culture, sounds nice though
Answer by Omega
I’ve never heard of this, either.
I googled ‘ knife and fork-rests’ and came
up with some but they are very pricey…!

Summer dresses are in. And if you pair them with the gladiator sandles then you have a great outfit. Everyone seems to be going natural now a days. So keep colors in summer shades depending on your style- if you like wearing bright colors stick to yellows light greens oranges and whites. if you like to go more conservative then my fave is the oatmeal color, light tans, khakis and whites. You can add belts to most of the summer dresses you get for the night look or just to make the outfit more sophisticated

I need help with a career idea involving fashion.?
Filed in The Fashion Category Fall Fashion
Ok, this is sort of a Plan B if Plan A job wise doesn’t work out.
Basically I’d love to become sort of a Fashion Guru, personal shopper kind of person, I know that is a vague term but that is the only way I could think of describing it. Like Gok Wan though of course not to his magnitude since he’s on TV now. XD
But that sort of thing, you know someone who dresses up the models in magazines, helps people with clothes, make-up and says what looks good and what doesn’t. Any anything else that falls under the job criteria we don’t know about.
I know it seems like a long shot sort of idea but it’s what I’d love to do and I wondered how exactly I would go about doing. What steps I would need to take.

I uncovered the website in the box below over the past few weeks when I was searching for a new career. I was in a dead-end job but I wasn’t sure what I really wanted to do or how to get there. The instruction on the site helped me to decide on my new career, and gave me some good suggestions about how to set off.

Would my Jamaican boyfriend have trouble getting into Guernsey Channel Islands?
Filed in The Fashion Category Answers – Boyfriends
I was born in Guernsey but moved to england when i was 2 and have been here ever since. my boyfriend is jamaican and his passport is with the Home office but he has a photo ID. Will he be able to come into guernsey without a visa/any other problems, we want to visit my family there for a week. Also I have a 4 month old baby with no photo ID….will this be a problem?
Answer by Manxbiker
you don’t need a passport to get to Guernsey from the UK
Answer by Maggie
He will have no problems, there are no immigration checks between Guernsey and the UK.
The common travel area comprises the UK, the Republic of Ireland, the Bailiwick of Guernsey, the Bailiwick of Jersey and the Isle of Man. Travellers in this area do not need to carry a passport or national ID for immigration purposes.
If you are flying, he will need to carry his passport. His photo ID may be acceptable, check with your airline. This is for security purposes, not immigration.
Answer by canada bear
In theory Maggie is right ,but in practice I have seen people stopped
and questioned in the Republic of Ireland and The channel Islands
for not carrying a passport. So its best to take one.
Fashion and accessories help?
Filed in The Fashion Category Fashion Accessories
Okay so one of my friends has a very different style and likes to stand out from the crowd. The purpose of this question is not to totally STEAL her style, but just have a few bits n bobs. She has things like – Lego rings, scrabble piece necklaces, duck earrings, cow earrings, haribo sweet bag pencil case. This would really make my day if somebody could suggest some websites that sell this sort of stuff in £. Sites like ‘Lazy Oaf’
Thanks Everbody =)
