My boyfriend and I are very much in love & in an exclusive relationship with each other. We’re sure that we want to stay together, & we’ve both agreed that marriage is a possibility for us. However, next summer, his family is moving to a different state. We wouldn’t be able to see each other for at least three or four months at a time; but we’re absolutely sure that we’re meant to be together. Any suggestions? Sorry for the cheesiness, but its true.

   If it was really meant to be then your boyfriend moving away wouldn’t matter. Im sure it will be hard, but if you guys love each other as much as you say you do, it should work out. This situation will definitely test your relationship. Stay positive… i sure you guys will make it work. **** Luck & enjoy life!

   I am in a long distance relationship right now, and, surprisingly, so far it has been easier than people say. When you care about someone you just make it work. Phone calls, letters/cards, the internet, and just chatting on a web cam to see each other’s faces all help to make it less lonely. Just take it one day at a time and see what happens. If you feel this strongly I’m sure you’ll be fine.

   how old are you? if you’re before/in college you will have to make a long distance relationship work. if you’re after, you could def move in together somewhere.
