I want to do body piercing like at a tattoo studio but don’t really know what you have to do in order to become licensed. I have seen like videos and books that teach you how to do the piercing but I figured you have to have a license. Maybe you don’t though. I would like to find out though thanks

   The first step in this business is to contact your local Health Department. They can tell you all your requirements, inspections on the premises, etc. that you need to get started. Watching videos may not be enough training, though. Most good, professional, and experienced peircers have been to school and/or apprenticed in another peircing studio for years before they go out on their own. There is a lot to think about.
