I love the 80′s, I wish I lived in that decade. Anyway, I love their fashion sense, everything was just so retro! So I would really love to mix their fashion with today’s. I just don’t really know what to mix….I want something just right, nothing too over the top, something decent. Something that I could wear to school. Thank you!

   skinny jeans, big belts, head bands, big jewelry, leggings, over sized, leg warmers, converse, wild hair. All 80s all great (obviously not together. Wear skinny jeans, leg warmers, a tee shirt and ballet flats. Or an oversized top with some leggings. Normal jeans, a graphic tee (sorta longish) and a big belt loosish around the thinnest part of your waist. converse and wild hair (not full of hair products and big kind of wild but if its curly just let it dry natural sort of wild.) with just about any outfit. Big colorful jewelry (cuffs/bangles, big necklaces and rings etc.) go with lots of outfits. you can mix and match just about any of these with your regular clothes for a bit of 80s flare.

   Matter of fact, neon retro colors started coming back into style this year! Like colorful shoes w/neon shoe laces, those purple skinny pants , those colorful sun glasses lots of people wear today (you know the plastic ones .. . not the blind looking ones), lots of print shirts came back into style also ( like super hero ones)

   fluorescent colors are def. 80′s. i work at jcpenneys and we have tons of 80′s stuff that’s up to date with today’s style. check out the city streets brand, tons of bright colors w/ an 80′s hint. also, you can def do 80′s with accessories. think BIG and colorful. shapes were big in the 80′s too…aka like triangles, squares, etc. bright pinks, yellows, oranges, etc. leggings are definitely an mix of 80′s and today and you could put them with a bright shirt. they are bringing back the converse shoes which were big in the 80′s as well. off the shoulder tops, one sided shoulder tops as well.
