I am considering cutting my hair shorter and for some reason I just feel really weird doing it in the fall. I don’t know why I feel like you should only make a cut like that in spring/summer. What do you think? Is it a bad fashion move to cut your hair short in the fall?

   I don’t think those seasonal rules apply any more, certainly not in fashion. Now girls wear summer floral flocks in winter but with heavy cardigans – it’s a ‘look’. The main thing to consider may be whether you feel the cold – you may need to wear more scarves, hats, etc, in winter with shorter hair.

   I always feel like short hair looks good in the fall since you’re starting to work hard again on schoolwork so you want to make sure your hair’s out of your face to concentrate properly. When spring and summer comes, it’s when the word “fun” starts popping up more often because the sun invites people to play outside and have a good time. Allowing your hair to be long in the summer lets you play up a lot of cute and sexy hairstyles to flirt with guys. I want to cut my hair short for this fall but my parents want me to keep it long; sucks.

   During school, most girls have long hair during the school year and in fall, their hair is the shortest. Probably because they’re cut in the summer, but no, I don’t think it’s a bad fashion move.

   If your going to cut your hair short, make sure it matches your face shape, like with a round face shape it would be better to leave it long.
