Can anyone tell me if a hairstyle is still in fashion. It’s almost down to my shoulders with side bangs, has layers and is razor cut and kind of flips on the ends.

If you are comfortable with it and it’s the look you like, you can wear it any way you want. Except maybe perms–those were big in the late 70′s and 80′s and I SO hate perms now. In the 50′s, “flip” was a type of style where the hair could be shoulder length and shiney, and then it was roller curled to flip up on the ends. My hair still flips up on the bottom–it’s the natural wave. The only way it goes under if it’s shorter than shoulder length and I curl it under–or so short it won’t go either way. I would look great in shorter hair, except I have very fine hair and not an overabundance of it–so I would say kind of thin. You need body to have short hair look “full” to look good. I’m not really an expert on hair, though–mine looks like crap–it’s turning gray, I should cut about 3 inches off of it. I have no idea how to style it and still use “rollers. I can get 33 into it in about 7 miniutes. I could do it in the dark. If it’s short, I use small rollers, when it’s longer, I use a lot of bigger ones and smaller ones on top for body.
no , old fashion style never out dated it will always come back to the new generation kids. right now my 11 old son is growing that style and doesn’t know about the hair style history and he thinks its something new to him.
