Here’s the deal…
I have a very good friend who is pretty (I think), but I think her make up,hair,and fashion are way out there.I’m not talking about ” a look that makes her an individual”,I ‘m talking about bad taste that she thinks looks great.
I have tried to give her subtle hints,but I don’t want to hurt her feelings and I feel terrible when I hear people snickering about her when she passes by.
Here’s my question…what do you think really looks awful on women,what are your make up turn-offs,and what just looks plain tacky?I’m not going to tell you what she does that is so bad because I am going to show her the answers later and I want completely unbiased opinions.
If her fashion/make-up faux pas are among the answers,then I will show them to her and hopefully she will listen tto the proof.If her style is not in the “cringe category”,then I will apologize and shut up forever.
Please help me to enlighten her so her inner beauty and true pretty face can shine.

   I agree that caking on makeup looks awful. Also dark lip liner with light lipstick, really messy looking makeup, and that bright blue old-granny kind of eye liner looks bad.
   I work at a Sephora counter and come across some really “individual” looks that aren’t so flattering.

   Smoking.
   Excessive drinking (alcohol).
   Excessive make up as well. I think, ideally, make up should enhance what is already there. It should be used to bring out what is beautiful in the person.

   i agree with you. Wearing all that makeup and stuff is evidence of being self conscience and having poor self esteem.
   She should just be her and let her inner beauty come out!!!!!!!!
