Nutrition And Diet Tips For A Female Boxer?

I’ve been training a lot lately because I want to start boxing in the fall,
I want to be committed and do well so I’m starting with shedding a lot of excess weight and building muscle and stamina,
honestly I just recently started
and I need some tips (:

  1. I was in a similar position, I was not ready to handle the intensity so I got a trainer at the gym and told him what I was doing, he gave me a diet- chicken, brown rice. and I was glad that I did not jump right into it

  2. Just use your common sense. If it’s good for you eat it! :)
    Fruits, veggies, protein (like chicken), carbs when you’re exercising a lot (like grains and cereals and breads). Take your vitamins too so that your not missing out on them from your diet (like Centrum). And you should be fine! :D Hope this helps and good luck!


  3. stop your sugar intake, junk foods and pop. Run every day , skip, learn your foot work, crunches, punch a punching bag and you know you are doing it right when you punch the bag and it doesn’t swing back at you. spar in the mirror, watch your body fat but make sure you are keeping up with your protein.


  4. eat well balanced meals like the zone diet offers. and eat extra protein since you will be working out a lot more than the average person.
