Studying fashion in university?

When i am older i want to be a fashion journalist or fashion photographer. At the moment i am sad to say im on a C in English according to my teacher, but i personally believe she must have something against me because i am pretty sure my work is B grade. ANYWAY i would rather not waste my time talking about that stupid teacher of mine, so i will move on. I am taking Digital Photography as well, and i am proud to say i am currently achieving an A!
Are these grades good enough to study fashion journalism and photography? i know its a bit early to be thinking about these things as i am only 15, but still! Also, what do you actually do when studying fashion at university? Because i am really creative on the computer and can make things looks really good on there (Using paint shop pro, image editing etc) And i have a good imagination ( I think anyway lol) but i am probably the worlds worst person at drawing in the history of the World! I am unbelievably bad! I also dislike drawing things, and i am not very good at making things at all ( apart from, as mentioned before, on the computer). With these “disabilities” kept in mind, would i suffer in studying fashion at university? Because i mean it, i CANNOT draw for the life of me. To be honest i am not too sure what you do when studying fashion, i just have a very good idea of what i want to do when i am older.

replica handbags are illegal, it takes away from the brand and you are supporting this!! If you are looking at fakes you clearly can not afford the high price of a Hermes bag so as if anybody would believe it is real anyways. In fact you will look like a cheap loser for even wearing it! Have some class and set yourself a goal to purchase a real one, just save up and then you will feel better about the purchase! Also these fake bag sellers rip you off, they charge between £200-£250 for a fake, and so essentially you are paying a huge amount of money for rubbish quality and fabric (they use similar factories as primark to put this in perspective!) and then they stick a fake logo on it with glue and expect you to pay these prices. Unfortunately silly people like you are easy targets for them! Don’t do it!!!

i think you should get a stuff pack. because the objects in the sims 2 gets a bit boring to look at after a while so the stuff pack will bring many new items.

you can log on and actually keep track of what you eat, talk to real people going thorough the same thing. They have forums with people who are trying to lose weight, and you can talk through it together. Remember to keep positive though. I know its hard when you aren’t where you wanna be with your weight. But keep a goal in mind and remember that you’re already beautiful, no matter what size you are. Losing weight to be skinny shouldn’t be your ultimate goal, do it to be healthy and do it for you and youll succeed. Best of luck.

i might be going to a spa soon, and thinking of getting one of these treatments…

- and exfoliation and spray tan

In my experience a spray tan won’t last a week. I usually get one if I’m going to a wedding & I get it the day before; within 3days it’s started to go patchy.
I’ve never had a facial or a massage but I hear they’re v relaxing, I’d love to try one. I love manicures, def think they’re worth it, but if you go on holiday in a week I really think a pedicure will last the longest. That’s what I’d go for.

Go for the massage, I always go for those. Depending on your preferences or your lifestyle you can go for a stress-relief massage, a therapeutic massage, a sports massage, a hot-stone massage..

I would also stay away from spray on tans. Go for lotions such as Dove or Aveeno.

Fashion Tips for The Legs?

My area is calves. I mean, they’re not super wide. They’re just wide compared to the rest of my body. Stubby, you know? I was hoping if there are fashion tips to “skinny-fy” my calves. Usually chunky calves, they make my thighs look thin when they really aren’t. (That’s when I show my thighs off.) Whenever I wear a dress, it usually cuts at my knees making my calves look chunky. Whereas when I wear say, short shorts, they make the whole leg look sort of “in tune” overall. Fashion tips? Are skinny jeans a no-no? Are booty shorts a hell yeah?

I can definitely say that flared pants and jeans would look amazing on you! This is because the flares hide the size and shape of your calves and you can only see the size and shape of your thighs. If you’re more confident about your top half (chest, tummy) then wear something printed or big on top so that all of the attention is took away from your legs if you aren’t too confident about them.

I am quite popular and nice looking i’ve been told haha :S and i want to lose weight fast …..
I used to be skinny but i am gaining weight quite often and its showing with a big belly and chest etc ….
I used to eat healthily like – fruit etc but now
i just tend to buy big packs of crisps , doughnuts , biscuits , and im starting to look less attractive i have been told ….help

Start eating healthy again. Limit the crisps, doughnuts, biscuits, etc. Go for a brisk walk 3-4 times a week. Don’t continue the way you are, because you will get bigger and bigger and the longer you stay in your bad habits the harder it will be to change them. I know this from experience. I didn’t change my bad habits now I have diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and liver problems. The junk food and inactivity are not worth it!!

All you have to do is reduce your calories by 100 a day, (eg. 1 biscuit, 1 cup of tea).

If you get hungry between meals, chew sugar free gum or drink a glass of water, to stop you snacking.

You may also wish to take L-Phenyalanine on an empty stomach at bedtime, this is supposed to help you lose weight while you sleep!

Reward yourself every third day by pigging out on a doughnut or packet of crisps for sticking to healthier eating.

Also, fruit ain’t all that good, it is a high source of sugar. Did you know that a single apple contains 8 teaspoons of sugar.

I am considering becoming a vet, any vets out there to give me advice?

Heyy guys. So, I am 13 at the moment and next year I will need to think seriously about what sort of courses I would like to take to aspire for a certain career.

I have gone through a lot of different ideas, from a human doctor, to working in fashion or beauty, and I have decided that, if I can be good enough in my exam results, maybe a vet.

I can assure you that I’m definately not going through one of those phases that I’m sure all kids go through where they are obsessed with pets, and think that becoming a vet will just mean they can meet lots of adorable fluffy animals and make them better.

I went through that when I was 8, and was obsessed with wanting a dog. I read up on practically every breed, their requirements, needs, and some diiseases they can suffer from. Nearly every week I would change my mind on what breed I would have when I ‘get old enough to become a vet and get enough money to get a dog’ so I learnt practically every breed and their needs.

i also went through the same thing with cats, hamsters, guinea-pigs, rabbits, gerbils, mice and rats. Not to the same extent, but to learning the breeds, the requirements, the care needed, and how to prevent disease and stuff.

I have/had a rabbit, hamster, fish and guinea-pigs and am thinking again of maybe being a vet. I know that it’s not all fun and games, and I know from experience of my own pets that not all pets love the vets (My bunny jumped off the table, ran around the floor behind the desks, and even tried to jump onto the blinds, don’t worry he was fine) and that not all pets will get better, and I mght have to put some to sleep. I know about this, and even though I do, I still want to become a vet.

I am experienced in the pets and needs, but I’m not sure how good I will be at animal biology until I study it at school. I am just wondering, from any vet’s out there, what sort of results did you need in A Levels, GCSE, etc and in which subjects? And how long did you study, what kind of vet are you? What sort of thing would i study in Uni or whatever, and was it worth it?

If I’m not a vet, what other kind of jobs could I do that involve animals, that would be quite successful and pay well if I get good at it?

Of course, if I suck at Biology or Science or whatever then I suppose I’ll just have to not be a vet and try and find osmething else, but if I can be a vet I would love to. What sort of vets are there? Consultant ones, people who operate, or just those nurses that calmed down my rabbit from his hyperness in the vets? I would quite like to be a vet who examines pets, and all that. What are they called?

Wow that really was long! All I can do is to remind you that a vet’s work is considerably harder than a doctor’s job. A doctor has the luxury of being able to ask his patients about their symptoms but a vet can’t do that.
