Recently I wrote an article on tattoos in a non English newspaper and after it was published I realized that I misspelled the word ”tattoo” by actually writing ”tatoo”. Now I know that it’s a error but I’ve been doing a lot of research on tattoos and I realized that this word is so commonly misspelled that you could almost say that it has many variations. So I was just wondering if anyone from the world of tattoos could tell me how big of a deal is it to write tatoo instead of tattoo?

   not much really!!! However, spelling it tattoo will get you a lot less guff and is more excepted! Otherwise be prepared to get schooled on spelling and talked about! are you that wrong?NO. But it is what it is.

   If you want to spell it right it would be “tattoo” only.

   I have tattoos and tats…. no tatoos or tattos.
