I’ve got light brown hair and I’ve never dyed my hair. My light brown hair already has strands of natural blonde hair in it. I would like to add some blonde highlights….do you think it’s a good idea. Or should I do lowlights? what’s the difference between the two of them? What’s less damaging? Which one has less peroxide and ammonia?
And are they still in fashion or not?

it’s definitely worth trying blonde highlights – the best thing to do is get a cap and pull through thin strands of hair, you can buy highlighting packs but the bleach could be too strong, I recommend getting a cap maybe from a hair dressing suppliers like Sally’s and getting Colour Inspirations + no 2 from Wilkos at £1.50 ish it’s effective and not too strong
I used Loreal for years but this is a fraction of the price and just as good
highlights are light and low-lights are dark
highlights are always fashionable
low- lights is a funkier kind of look
