What Do You Think Of Tattoos And Body Piercings?

I have my ears pierced and I have a little tattoo on my hip, because it looks good when I’m wearing my bikini. But I always see people with lip, tongue, eyebrow and even nipple piercings! And I think it looks really ugly when people cover themselves in over the top tattoos. What do you think about tattoos and piercings?

It’s just people’s personal preferences, even though you may think those people are “crazy” or “weird”, trust me, a lot of them are some of the nicest people you’ll ever meet. A lot of us just like to be different!
I guess I’m old fashion. I have ear piercing but nothing more.
I think that tattoos are a marking and if god wanted you to have them you would have been born with them. over exposure of body piercing is not sexy in my eyes. I have a 7 yr. old daughter and I chose not to pierce her ears because it would be her decision to decide if she wanted to or not. I thought she would enjoy doing it with her girlfriends when she got older (in her teens) but I don’t want her to do anymore than just ear piercing. I think it’s ugly and not appropriate exspecially in a place where there is upper class people.
Piercings can be delicate and they can be overdone. my brother has a big aboriginal design over both shoulder blades and it’s too much to me. It is not his character he has just been influenced by peers and I feel he will regret it later in life. I have both ears pierced and have never felt so feminine! My boyfriend is always buying me earrings or studs because I love wearing them. I think a few is ok, but turning into a disco ball or an artist’s canvas- yeuck!!
Too many piercings are offputting, especially in the face and I’m not so keen on surface piercings and ones in the nape and the spine. I don’t mind loads of tattoos as it’s pretty cool and is just like wearing your hair in a certain style or wearing clothing with a make on. It just shows your personality. Piercings and tattoos are cool and unique, they aren’t gonna kill you!

I have several piercings in my ears, my tongue and lip pierced as well as two tattoos.
I think you have to be a certain type of person to appreciate piercings and tattoos, and before you ask, im not a Goth or an Emo. I just like to be “decorated”.
To say it looks cheap or chavvy is unfair. But i see why they get that reputation.

well i just have my ears pierced and i did have my bellybutton done but my skin had a reaction to every bar, but i also have a small heart tattoo on my hip, which is mostly covered but i only like tattoo’s that you can cover, unless its something nice & meaningful on the wrist or foot, but each to their own
tattoos are a totally personal thing. I have one it is a small celtic symbol on my right shoulder blade, It is hardly seen by anyone as I wear a shirt and suit to work, when people do see it they are totally shocked as they don’t think I am the “type” of person to have one, I always ask just what is that TYPE. I think it is each to their own
I was going to get a tat but I wasn’t sure so I asked all my friends and family, the result was an exact split. Tat’s are like marmite you either love them or hate them. If you’re not sure, try drawing it on in biro first and see if you feel like a plum when you look in the mirror. That’s what I did in the end.
i think there gross, tatto’s look maky when your oldd and wrinkly and even worse when your young. Piercingss are ok with one hole in your ear. But anything else is just disgusting because the holes get infected and change colours depending on what you put through the hole. if you go on holioday sometimes you cant swim with them in x

I am not emo, punk or goth… I have my lip pierced and it looks cute. when you get the bulky huge piercings, thats when its tacky.

I like them… well, I like them to a point. I like piercings, but too many can be a turn-off. With tattoos, I don’t mind how many a person has, but the kind that they have and where they’re placed can make me think that the person is desperate for attention.
I personally like them as long as they’re tasetful. Tatoos are interestng and tell a story about a person. Piercings can be fun too. I had loads at one stage but got sick of cleaning em all! It’s an individual choice and if makes a person happy then leave em to it.
i think all those weird body things suck they make the people look very trashy the ear peircings aren’t bad but I saw a guy with his nipple’s peirced and who knows where else and I just got grossed out that goes through me so badly I also don’t like when people have peirceing hanging from they’re body or tattoos everywhere
horrible i hate tats but a belly button piercing is soooo sexy i think, nowhere else, just the belly button. and the normal piercing’ are just a couple on the ears
well i have nine and getting more: i have my:lip scaffold ear all over and at the end of the day its what the person wants so dnt judge
On a guy, tattoos say “edgy.” But a girl, they say “trashy” usually. Facial piercings are ugly unless it’s the tongue, that’s hot.
Well I love sleeves on guys and girls but if they have them like eveywhere it looks ugly. I like piercings too but I hate eyebrow pericings. I like unusual ones and again loads can be really ugly.
I think in your ears two piercings max. And with tattoos, I think one or two little ones can look really cute but when you see women with big ones on there arms in a dress or something, it looks really nasty.
i think whatever you do to your body is fine, so long as you’re ok with still being pierced and tattooed when you’re a grandma/grandpa.
I like piercings. I think there hot but it deppends where you have them. Tattoos are also hot.

i agree with you… tattoo’s look good in moderation maybe 2 or 3 but once yu mutilate your body with them it goes too far… but if that wat makes them happy hu r we to judge them
I think if ur getting a tattoo u should get it where u can cover it up if u want .

little tatoos are fine, but people with loads if piercings and large tatoos is ugly
