Question:

I am new to the world of mineral makeup and am finding that the Oil of Olay cloths i’ve been using for years no longer cut it, there is still so much makeup left behind. I’m looking to hear what other women are using to thoroughly remove mineral makeup. Thanks!

   When i was in a play they made us wear a ***ton*** of mineral makeup and stuff and i found that luvs or some other brand of baby wipes work really really well!

   These are two that i really love:
   Clinique “Take the day off” makeup remover
   Lancome Bi-Facil Double Action makeup remover
   Both will take off the makeup completely! The reason they work so well is that they have two components, and when you shake the bottle, they combine and it breaks down the makeup. Just apply it to a cotton pad and swipe it all over your face. They might leave your face feeling a little oily, but just wash your face after with your usual face wash and that will go away. Both of these can be bought at the Lancome and Clinique counters at most any department store (usually i have success at macy’s or nordstrom’s)

   Soap and water. Takes is all right off. Just be sure to moisturize, Some soaps are harsh.
