  1. for a girl:
Bold colors, retro details, big volumes – that’s what this Fall-Winter promises in terms of fashion. From international runways to college wear, this season is bursting with energy and life. Let’s take a closer look.
Lace and ribbons – If you thought these were restricted to summer, you’re wrong. Floaty fabrics, soft makeup and pale pink are all in. So don’t be afraid to go all girlie. Adornments can make such a difference. Feminine blouses with bows and ruffles also look great for fall
Cut and dried – If girlie isn’t your thing, then you can opt for straight cuts and no-frill outfits. Black blazers and white shirts and great accessories in silver or any metal will look fashionable and chic.
Retro effect – From pencil skirts, leather pumps and red lipstick this look is here to stay this winter. Throw on some pearls and an oversized handbag and you’re all set to walk the ramp. Dangling jewelry in chandelier form or long necklaces can also add a nice touch.
Puss n boots – Boots and jeans create the perfect marriage. If you have great legs then pair it with a miniskirt. Black or brown boots look great but don’t forget to get pantyhose in the same color. If you don’t like the spike stiletto style, try flat boots. The round-toed boots are so comfortable and go well with skinny jeans.
Trench coats – Whether belted or not, these scream sophistication. For this season metallic colors are in. So look for leather with a ¾ sleeve length. Clubbed with high boots, you could look like a million dollars
Pencil Skirts – Both are stylish and elegant and a great option for this fall. A nice knee length pencil skirt will look good with both ankle high boots and knee high ones. You can compliment that with a silky blouse or a retro-cut jacket.
Chunky sweaters – This fall and winter is all about volume. So ‘chunky’ is the keyword here. From Malo to Calvin Klein size is everything. Oversized cardigans and turtlenecks to floppy collars, these knits are big and bold. With skinny jeans or a wide belt, you’ll look really hot!
The Fashionable Colors – This Fall-Winter all shades of grey and purple are going to be huge. Classic black, white and more exotic leopard print, are also the favorites of the runways!
Accessorize! – Sweaters are not the only ‘big’ thing this season. Big cuff bracelets in copper and brass and bold beads add an extra shine to any dress. Charms have also become oversized and have been added to necklaces for added effect. Silk and wool scarves in fashionable colors, long leather or cashmere gloves are also the fashionable way to go! And do not forget a pretty belt, the belts stay even for Spring Collection ;)
go to the web site for the pic!!
    for guys:
Texture, color, utility and indulgence are fused into menswear that is as luxe as it is practical this season. Techno influences (pockets for gadgets, modern styling), comfort (knits and stretch built in to wovens), and a final flirtation with this century’s classic bad boy image (leather and denim) work together to inspire menswear fit to send off/start off a millennium.
    Knitpicky
Chunky, colorful, plush, cozy, ribbed, striped — pick your pleasure. From humble offerings like cotton pullovers to lush cashmere, knits are huge hits this season. Square, V and funnel necks in rich colors like olive and orange add new interest.
    Skin is in
From supple suedes to sleek leathers, skins are much more than just outerwear. Shirts and blazers layered with knits (read: no dress shirts and ties, please) are just as at home in a casual office as a sport coat.
    hope this helps!!

  10. It’s fine. Get a great color other than black (red is happy! Same with bright blue or yellow or orange, whatever looks good with your complexion) and a cool scarf and hat and anything goes. Go to http://www.rei.com for other great ideas for “in-style” winter coats. Many cool mountain brands there.
Good answer from Dream Girl, but you’re a guy judging from your avatar. Pencil skirts are OUT for you!
