I’m very knowledgeable on them (don’t let my noob status on here fool you), and I’m looking for like-minded people.
What makes you an “expert”?
And would you like to answer questions once a week about body piercings?

   i can answer questions about body piercings, i already do all the time, im very amazed by some of the crazy stuff people say about piercings here.

   It takes years of work to be able to call yourself an “expert” on such a wide and varied subject. Even the most accomplished experts are devoted to learning new material at every opportunity.
   I happen to know a great deal about piercings, but I’m by no stretch of the imagination an expert. I’m currently training under a piercer whom I do consider to be an expert.
   I answer questions about piercings on Answers most nights of the week. It’s amazing how much need there is for reasonable, educated answers.

   I think the only people that can really call themselves an expert on body piercings are really good piercers. I’d call my piercer in San Antonio an expert on piercings. Instead of clamping and piercing in 10 seconds like a lot of piercers, he perfects angles, finds the best spot for a piercing, and is amazing at what he does. He’s also very personable so when people come to get pierced, he talks to the people and calms them down.
   I’d say I have a lot of knowledge about piercings. More than the average joe, probably a lot more. But I am no expert.

   I don’t really know how to answer this question. It’s similar to how everyone thinks that they are the best driver that they know, or like everyone has the smartest dog out of any dog in the world.
   Some people just happen to be really interested in body art and know a lot about it. I don’t want to claim to be some sort of ” expert” but the subject does interest me and I know a lot about the subject.

   I would say im an expert. Im a future body piercer, doing them now for my friends. Ive been studing the art of body modification since i was 13 when i got my first piercing. ive done half mine myself, i have 14 now 17 in my lifetime. I know everything there is to know about sterilization, jewlery, placement. Its basically my life

   I would tbh =]
   I haven’t had that many piercings myself
   But those that I have, I gained experience from
   Eg- surface piercing on my forearm/wrist
   Gained a LOT of knowledge about what to do incase of infection with that one o_O
   I know techniques on piercing, what equipment is needed, what kind of metal is best used where, healing times etc
   Haha, seems like im bigging myself up a lot xD
   But yeah..
   Maybe not an expert
   But certainly experienced =]

   i’m not an “expert”, but i know a bit. i know healing times, care instructions, piercing procedures, special cautions for certain piercings and stuff. i have 10 holes of my own. i was told by a piercer i should be an apprentice and i’m considering it. THEN i will be an expert

   well i wouldnt call myself an expert, but i think i know quite alot about peircings and after care etc.I’d love to answer questions bout them once a week. I want to become a body piercer!
